Ishaan Kaushal is a Ph.D. student working in the area of Manufacturing systems and sustainability at Centre for Product Design & Manufacturing, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. He has experience in designing systems and quantifying the environmental impacts of products and manufacturing systems using methods such as life cycle assessment (LCA), process fow modeling, and data science. He is associated with the Smart Factory R&D platform and also works on using Machine Learning and Discrete Event Simulations (Plant simulation) for manufacturing sustainability analytics.
