In recent times, this activity has picked up significantly in the Institute and our Department faculty have contributed expressively in this effort. The number of patents filed from their research work is on the rise \u2013 some have ventured into transfer of their technology to industries or end users while others have gone ahead to launch start-up companies with their students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the last 10 years, faculty from CPDM has applied\/granted 93 patents (59 from core faculty and 34 from associate faculty members).
