Utsav Swarnkar

I am a Ph.D. scholar at the Department of Design and Manufacturing (DM), Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, working under the supervision of Dr. Manish Arora in the UTSAAH Lab

My research focuses on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Heat Transfer, and Thermal Comfort, with a particular interest in sweat evaporation and human thermal regulation. Before joining IISc, I earned my B.Tech in Mechanical engineering from KIET Ghaziabad and M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermal Engineering from IIT Dhanbad. Research Interests: CFD, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Air Conditioning, and Human Thermal Comfort. Hobbies: Beyond research, I enjoy playing badminton, singing, and cricket.
