Gandhian Young Technological Innovation (GYTI) Award, 2019

Deval Karia and Rohit S. Nambiar (M.Des. 2018) were awarded the Gandhian Young Technological Innovation (GYTI) Award on the 6th of July ’19 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. These awards were conferred by the honourable Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, for their work on the design of an affordable insulin pump for type-1 diabetic patients. Union minister of health and family welfare, Dr Harsh Vardhan was the guest of honour.
