Distinguished Lecture by Erik Lerdahl

In his presentation professor Lerdahl will talk about different creative approaches to the development of new solutions. He will present the Creative Solving Methodology(CSM) that he has developed over the years, that is inspired by Creative Problem Solving(CPS) approach. He teaches this methodology to all his students in interior design and graphic design, and has used it for many industrial cases, through the extensive use of designed workshops. For design driven projects, the methodology is more user and vision driven, using visions as framework for the design process. He will also present a methodology for the development of radical future scenarios, using extreme drivers as basis for the development.
