Professor Amaresh Chakrabarti was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Engineering by the Brunel University of London on the 16th of July 2026, in recognition to his outstanding contributions to engineering design, research, and education.
Brunel University of London has awarded 10 new honorary doctorates to key figures at its 2026 summer graduation ceremonies. Honorary degrees are awarded in recognition of an individual’s outstanding achievement in their field of expertise, or in recognition of the application of the individual’s knowledge and intellectual ability for the benefit, or the potential, that it offers to society.
