Our department is committed to pushing the boundaries of design and manufacturing to address some of the most pressing challenges of our time. To further our mission, we are seeking your support for two critical initiatives: the construction of a new state-of-the-art building and the establishment of fellowship programs for our talented students.
*1. New Building:*
Our current facilities, while adequate, are no longer sufficient to accommodate the growing needs of our research and development activities. A new, state-of-the-art building will provide us with the necessary infrastructure to expand our capabilities, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and house advanced laboratories and workspaces. This facility will serve as a hub for sustainable innovation, enabling us to attract top talent and conduct cutting-edge research that drives progress in design and manufacturing.
*2. Fellowships for Students:*
Our students are the lifeblood of our department, bringing fresh ideas and energy to our projects. However, many talented students face financial barriers that prevent them from pursuing their academic and research ambitions. By establishing fellowship programs, we can provide these students with the financial support they need to focus on their studies and research. These fellowships will ensure that we continue to attract and nurture the brightest minds, fostering the next generation of innovators and leaders in the field of design and manufacturing.
