About me

Hello! I’m Shreya Hamine, a designer with a foundation in mechanical engineering, driven to fuse creativity with technology to craft innovative, user-centered solutions. My experience in the 3D bioprinting industry and familiarity with DFM and design engineering shape my approach, helping me design with practicality and manufacturability in mind. Vivid colours, intriguing forms, and visual storytelling inspire me to create products that meet real needs and evoke emotion. Outside of design, I express my creativity through painting, drawing, photography, poetry, and cultural art forms like rangoli, mehendi, and classical Bharatnatyam.

Projects

1. Design and Development of Temperature Control Extruder for 3D Bioprinters (Project undertaken at Next Big Innovations Labs (NBIL) Bangalore)

2. Design of a 3D Bioprinter casing for Ease of use and Brand value to accommodate up to 3 Extruder heads along with HEPA Filter. (Project undertaken at NBIL Bangalore)

3. Detail design and DFM of roto-moulding and FRP based products (Completed as part of Internship at Jagana Designs)

4. Design of a Variable Bead Deposition System for FDM printers.

5. Proco Key: Design of a contactless device to carry out daily tasks of exchanging currency, bills safely in view of Covid.
