About me

I am Kunal from Pune, Maharashtra. I have completed my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Electric Vehicles. Currently, I am pursuing my M.Tech in Smart Manufacturing at IISc Bangalore. I have a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science, along with a solid foundation in thermal-fluid sciences, composites, materials, manufacturing, and sustainable technologies. My academic journey has allowed me to explore both traditional engineering concepts and modern data-driven approaches, and I am passionate about integrating these areas to solve real-world problems.

Projects

1. Jute–Glass Fiber Composite Laminate Designed and fabricated a composite using jute and glass woven laminates with polymer matrix for prosthetic socket. Performed physical testing and ANSYS simulations to study specially orthotropic material behaviour of material under boundary conditions.

2. Heat Pump for Hostel Designed a heat pump system to provide hot water for a hostel facility. Carried out thermal analysis, component selection, and performance evaluation to ensure energy efficiency and feasibility.
