About me

A Mechanical Engineering graduate, I am now pursuing an M.Des at IISc’s Design and Manufacturing (DM). My journey is defined by a rigorous blend of technical depth, evidenced by cracking the IISc ME 2024 interview and selection as a Graduate Executive Trainee in NLCIL’s 2024 Thermal Area, and a fierce commitment to creative design. I am Kherai flute player and an avid instrument maker, creating objects like bamboo, PVC flutes and the wood carving Serja (a Bodo traditional musical instument), which allows me to explore material science, form, and acoustics firsthand. This is complemented by my work in electronic product design and making short film, scripting, acting, directing etc. My goal in M.Des is to leverage this unique expertise in engineering, craftsmanship, and narrative creation to develop innovative and meaningful products.
