‘DRM Gurukooll’ is as an annual initiative, held every summer at a different institution in India, with the objective to expose early career design researchers – PhD scholars and young faculty, to the vast landscape of design research and enable them in pursuing world class research into design. Furthering the collaborative efforts that led to the success of the first edition hosted by IISc Bangalore in 2023, the ‘DRM Gurukooll 2024: the 2nd Indian Summer School on Design Research’ was hosted by Department of Design, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), under the aegis of Design Innovation Centre IITG.
